Public governmental institutions such as universities are included in this definition. Organizations must also be determined not to be private foundations under Internal Revenue Code No grants are made to individuals. Deadline to send proposals is 20 April Request for Proposals: Microplastic biomonitoring in fish — Assessing the feasibility and conducting a pilot field study. The main scope of this project is to determine the feasibility of characterizing, and measuring the quantity of microplastic particles collected from the gastrointestinal tract of an appropriately defined fish species, including its relevance for use as a global biomonitor and understanding of key physiological traits in relation to feeding behavior, and to conduct a pilot field study at a regional scale to assess the feasibility of implementing a scientifically robust sampling and analysis protocol.
