There are a vast number of different types of fallacies, including Begging the claim, Sweeping Generalizations, slippery slope, hasty generalization, Ad hominem, red herring, and circular argument.
Logical fallacies concern themselves with the structure of arguments and the process through which conclusions are drawn. Logical fallacies focus on the relationships among statements, if the statements are true or false, and rather or not conclusions based upon the statements are validly drawn.
