Write down all necessary documentation information before you start to take notes. Use one index card for each source, and use a special color or size for bibliography cards. Write neatly! Source Card: Contains information about the source of information, such as author, title, publisher, copyright date, web address, etc. Note Cards: Contains information about the topic; facts about the topic. Middle names should be abbreviated, and suffixes should be preceded by a comma and appear after the first name and initial.
