We wanted to thank you for coming to our society meetings over the last year. We would have loved to have seen you all in the flesh on campus but of course, COVUD put all of that on pause, We'd like to thank you for all your suggestions, conversations and basically everything you've done for the society over the last few months. We will be having an End of Year party on Wednesday at 7 pm at our usual slot so if you'd like to play some fun Kahoot quizzes and chat, we'd love to see you. Bring a drink, a snack whatever you'd like and enjoy celebrating what we have all achieved. We want to tell you about some competitions from the Michael Mullan Charity Fund.
The Creative Writing Society aims to foster an environment where budding writers of all kinds can discuss writing, share their work, and learn from their peers. We welcome poets, essayists, and writers of all kinds to come and attend our events where we discuss prose in its many forms. Events typically have a focus on a different topic each week, with time set aside at the end for an open mic where memebers can read their work in a welcoming environment, or simply just listen to others read. There is of course no pressure to share any writings. Ultimately we want to gather like-minded people such that we can all improve and enjoy our writing.
